coming from the root of OnAirLibrary! (OAL), New York outfit Daylight’s for the Birds create psychedelic shoegazing dream pop.
melodies are beautifully crafted and added with plenty of droney sadcore/post rock moments throughout the album. this is reminiscent of Asobi Seksu and Slowdive
you cannot turn down a breathtaking/fragile voice of Amanda Garrett. great vocals and great music. what more do you want? captivating album! this’s one of my top 2006 albums. grab it!

เนื้อเพลงที่แสนเศร้าของชายผู้นี้กลั่นกรองมาจากความเศร้าส่วนตัวที่เกี่ยวพันกับเหตุการณ์น่าสลดที่เกิดขึ้นในชีวิตของเขาเอง พ่อได้เสียชีวิตด้วยโรคเอดส์ ตอน perkins อายุเพียง 16 ปี ส่วนแม่ก็จากโลกไป ตอนเกิดเหตุเครื่องบินชนตึก world trade center เมื่อ 9/11
